We recommend arriving on Thursday afternoon and staying through Sunday! We have a surprise planned for Saturday (more details to come with formal invitations) and would love to spend time with you after the wedding. We chose to have our wedding in Charleston because it is one of our favorite cities, and we would love for you to stay and make a vacation of it! Additionally, arriving early on Friday is perfectly fine—just be sure to account for traffic.

While we adore your children, our wedding will be held along the river, and as the evening turns to night, the setting isn’t ideal for them. For their safety, and to keep things worry-free, we’ve decided to make this an adults-only occasion. We’d love for you to enjoy a fun, date night with us, so please feel free to leave the kids at home and let loose! If you were planning to bring your children, we’d be happy to recommend a trusted sitter service—just let us know. Thank you for understanding, we can't wait to celebrate with you!

Attire is black tie. We can't wait to see everyone dressed up with us! Ladies please wear floor-length dresses. Color is encouraged, go all out - but please keep in mind the bridal party will be in sage green! Gentlemen should wear a tuxedo. The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors on grass. Ladies, we recommend wearing shoes with a thicker or block heel so you are able to walk or stand in grass comfortably. There will be plenty of trees to provide shade. The reception will also be held outdoors but will take place under a tent with wooden flooring.

You will be responsible for transportation to Runnymede. We recommend ubering. We will provide transportation from Runnymede back to downtown.
